General Guidelines:
1. Be honest and authentic and let your personality come through.
2. There should always be a payoff for the reader. Whether that is asking for advice, providing a lesson learned, or a comedic anecdote.
3. Feel free to use slang and even some swear words, as appropriate. We don't want it to be salacious, but we want it to feel like a real conversational topic and not too formal.
4. Make sure to start with a clear theme or point of view, so the reader is clear on the storyline.
5. Tone should be friendly, encouraging, optimistic, open-minded, and real. We are friends giving advice and sharing experiences, but we’re not know-it-alls.
6. Make it something you believe in, that comes naturally to you and a story you need to tell or share.
7. For a full blog post, keep it between 3-5 healthy paragraphs. We don't want to overwhelm the reader, but we want to make sure it feels complete.
