Cherrón Gardner, CMP
Q. What’s your drink of choice?
A. Champagne of course! We didn’t name this blog Coffee till Champagne solely because it sounded cute. We live this life.
Q. What do you want to be known for?
A. My heart. I have a tough exterior but inside I’m a softie. I love hard, I’m loyal to those I care about & my self-care routine is BOMB. At the end of this life I want to know I lived a life of love. That the people I loved knew how much they meant to me & that I loved myself first and best.
Q. If your life was a song title, what would it be called?
A. Young, Gifted & Black
Q. What’s next for you to accomplish?
A. Since I turned 40 I’ve been asking myself this question a lot. I would say next for me is living my life without apologies. This year, that means starting two new businesses & making my health and my relationships top priority. Simply put, I need to lose weight and find me the RIGHT man.
Q. How do you take your coffee?
A. Black baby! So as long as it’s quality coffee and why would you drink anything but quality coffee?
Q. One piece of life advice you’d give our readers?
A. Don’t forget to breathe. There is power in taking a good deep breath.
Q. One piece of career advice you’d give our readers?
A. Take a deep breath, listen to your gut, do it anyway. For a long time I lived and worked from a place of fear. Fear of failing, fear of what others thought and fear of success. And you know what? I failed anyway. People thought anyway. I succeeded anyway. I survived. So I stopped living in fear and switched to faith. I take the deep breath, I listen to the God within me (my gut) and I do the thing that needs to be done FOR ME.
Q. Where do you drink your first cup of coffee?
A. Bumbling around the house trying to wake up. The first few moments of each day belong to me and God. I’m good for doing housework in the morning but usually my routine includes yoga, prayer, coffee and then I check my calendar and social media.
Q. Give us your best toast.
A. Pop a cork to all the things, in a world where often, the struggle is real because bitches be trippin, but isms is, as herstory does and that’s a word all in itself. Cheers!
A little about Cherrón:
A recovering workaholic who manages multiple businesses while also making time for the important things like family, friends and brunch. I will never recover from the travel bug and indulge in my addiction often. I love a good book. I live for live music. I think everyone should go to therapy. I wish I hadn’t memorized my credit card numbers because shopping is bae. I’m also single so feel free to share this good selfie with anyone you know!
